Develop your own regional database

fas fa-hands-helping

The DISS Working Group has come a long way since the DISS first release in developing an efficient platform to store, process, and display data about seismogenic sources. We are willing to share our experience and tools with others.

The DISS system is composed by a database front end and a database back end. The front end is what you can see in this website; mainly a user interface to navigate through the various categories of seismogenic faults and their support data in map and tabular views. The back end, instead, is a more complex software environment where we store all the necessary raw data and process them to become ready for display. We are willing to share this platform with others. Few have already done it; the GreDaSS, for example, uses our back-end platform.

Use this form to get in touch with our group and start developing your project with us.
